Shark Ambassadors
HOW TO BE A SHARK AMBASSADOR
This program encourages young students to introduce shark conservation to fellow classmates and become spokespeople and ambassadors of shark conservation.
Students interested in becoming shark ambassadors can download the shark ambassador pledge sheet (click here to download the sheet!) and an age appropriate shark activity from our Kids Area. In order for be appointed, we request that the student complete the pledge to help protect sharks and share the activities and information with ten friends or classmates.
When we receive the pledge sheet, the student will receive an official Shark Ambassador Certificate of Appointment to frame, stickers, and temporary tattoos and will be an official Shark Ambassador. In addition, with the permission of the student’s parents or guardians, we will recognize the student on our website as a Shark Ambassador.
We will also send along a form for us to contact your principal to tell him/her about the student’s wonderful dedication and participation in shark conservation. This form should be sent along with the student’s signed pledge form.
Every time we bestow an ambassadorship we feel enthusiastic and encouraged to continue our ocean conservation efforts. Thank you to all the parents and teachers for getting your students interested in shark conservation and becoming ambassadors.
